Power is something everyone wishes to obtain whether it’s in the business world with money and respect, or in the fictional world with super heros. There are people that get their power from others like the president by making promises and telling the people/voters what they would do for them if they’re elected. Then there are the heroes in many beloved comics and movies like Captain America from MCU or Batman from DCU. What someone like the president and a fictional hero have in common is the people that they influence and how the people respond to their actions; in other words, having the respect and attention of the people is how power is obtained by someone whether the they have good or bad intentions, their fame is what draws the attention to them.
President Barack Obama has gotten so much respect and gratitude for his deeds And good intentions for our country and for being the first African-American president.
In the movie The Dark Knight, not only the hero, but two of the villains had huge influences on the people of Gotham. Batman was the hero that Gotham deserves, but didn’t know they needed, Harvey Dent (Two-Face) was the White Knight that wanted peace for the city and the Joker wanted to prove to everyone that they were just as bad as him.All of this power was gained through recognition, respect and/or fear and they deserve it for being famous or infamous to the world. Power is something people can get through hard work and dedication, or for recognition or attention and everyone will strive for power as much as the want, it all depends on whether or not the people want to give it to them.People can keep their power by staying stronger than their opponents, the army can stay powerful if they prove that they can defeat the other defenses across the globe, and superheroes can stay powerful b y defeating their villains.
